Complete Guide to the Virgin Voyages Alaska Season Pass (2025)

Virgin Voyages just announced a totally new type of month-at-sea package — the Alaska Season Pass.

It’s basically a month-long Alaskan sailing where you hop from itinerary to itinerary. Think of it like a month on Scarlet Lady last year… but with glaciers. And the perks are really solid!

Mountains behind a still lake

What it is

You pick a month-long block (May/June, June/July, or July/August) and sail a different Alaska itinerary each week. Every week is a separate cruise, but you stay on the same ship the whole time. Just a rolling sequence of 7-night Alaska sailings.

Each month has 3–4 itineraries chained together, like:

May/June:

  • Seattle, Juneau & Canadian Coasts

  • Alaskan Glacier Blues & Coastal Views

  • Inside Passage Alaska & Canadian Coasts

May 28 — June 23

July/August:

  • Alaskan Glacier Blues & Coastal Views

  • Alaskan Glacier Blues & Coastal Views

  • Alaskan Glacier Blues & Coastal Views

  • Seattle, Juneau & Canadian Coasts

July 30 — August 27

June/July:

  • Alaskan Inside Passage & Canadian Coasts

  • Alaskan Glacier Blues & Coastal Views

  • Alaskan Glacier Blues & Coastal Views

  • Alaskan Glacier Blues & Coastal Views

June 23 — July 23

What’s included

The package offers some awesome perks:

  • Spa Day Thermal Pass every voyage

  • Early access booking (135 days for Shore Things, 60 for dining)

  • One complimentary Shore Thing per voyage

  • Complimentary Glacier & Fjords Discovery Excursion

  • Work From Sea WiFi — so if you can’t take a month of work, you can still Zoom in from the ship!

  • Priority Boarding

  • Exclusive Alaska Pack (binoculars, power pack, water bottle, backpack, etc.)

  • Season Pass Collectible + Welcome Reception

Bottom Line

This is obviously a niche package, but if someone has been dreaming of a “just go to Alaska for a month” summer… this is the way I’d do it.

Fine print worth knowing

  • You cannot cancel individual voyages — the pass is treated as one package.

  • Your primary sailor has to sail all voyages, but the second sailor can swap out each week if needed.

  • Space is limited so contact us ASAP if you’re interested!
